Warranties

When you purchase a fine art print from Michael Tessler Photography, you receive the following ten warranties with your artwork:

  1. 30 day 100% money back guarantee: I guarantee your satisfaction with your artwork. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a full refund, credit, or exchange for up to 30 days following your purchase. Some limitations apply (only to prevent fraud). Essentially, the artwork must be in like-new condition. See my returns policy for full details. But I’m serious about this warranty--you must be completely satisfied!

  2. Lifetime fade-free guarantee: Your artwork has been produced using the finest archival materials available for museum-quality longevity. The printed photograph will not fade or show perceivable color shifting for as long as you own it. In fact, based on industry testing of the materials I use, I guarantee the condition of your artwork for a minimum of 69 years when framed under glass or acrylic. If framed under ultraviolet protective glass or acrylic, your artwork will last significantly longer than that before fading. If your artwork has faded, simply return it to me and I will replace it.

  3. Quality warranty: I personally print my own work. I cut my own mats and mount the artwork myself. I also frame the artwork myself. I guarantee the quality of every aspect of the production of your work. If a print comes out of the printer with even the smallest flaw, I destroy that print and create a new one after correcting any problems. I use the highest quality materials available in every phase of production. My dedication to quality guarantees that your artwork will be flawless and immediately ready to be displayed in your home or office.

  4. Limited edition guarantee: When you purchase a limited edition print from me, I promise and guarantee that once that edition has sold out, I will never again produce another print of that photograph in the edition’s size and medium. Nor will I transfer the digital negative to anyone else for them to make prints. If it’s a limited edition, it is absolutely limited to the specified quantity.

  5. I personally sign every print I make. I sign the photograph itself, outside of the printed area so that if you re-mat the photograph, you still have my signature on your artwork. I number and date all limited editions as well. This personal warranty ensures that you receive a unique piece of artwork that I have created myself and to which I have personally signed my name.

  6. Each matted photograph has been cut to a standard frame size so that you can easily frame or re-frame your artwork without incurring large custom framing expenses. I offer limited framing options; therefore, because I want your artwork to complement your home or office decor, I want to make it as easy as possible for you to have it framed to suit your own style if you do not choose one of my framing options.

  7. My prices increase on a regular basis. Further, for limited edition prints the prices of the remaining pieces increase regularly as the available quantity decreases, and these limited edition pricing increases are in addition to the regular baseline price increases I institute. My regularly increasing prices ensure that your investment in your artwork maintains its value and even increases in value over time.

  8. I will personally answer any questions you have about your artwork, including the location where the image was captured, the making of the final product, or anything else you want to know about it. I want you to know as much about the work as you would like to know so that you can enjoy it to the fullest extent possible. You can also share the stories I tell with your friends and family when you show your artwork to them. My hope is that you will remember fondly our conversation and will gain that much more enjoyment from your art.

  9. When you have purchased a piece of art from me, you may call or email me at any time if you have questions about the work. I am happy to talk to you or respond to emails and tell you anything you’d like to know about the photograph or production process.

  10. You may choose to have your artwork shipped to you. If you do choose to have it shipped, it will be packaged securely to prevent damage. The shipment will be insured and traceable, and I will provide you with the tracking number as soon as I have it. If your artwork has been damaged in shipment, I will replace it for you at no additional cost.
